The Challenge draws near

OK, hands up who's up for the A to Z Blogging Challenge this year?

I'm in.

The Challenge hasn't even started yet, and already I feel like a winner. One of the co-hosts, Jenny Pearson at Pearson Report, held a tag game last month and drew my name at random from the list of participants. She sent over some digital artwork, which arrived this week.

Trouble is, I've now got to fight Ali over whose office it will hang in!

I've taken the set of prints in to be framed. Much umm-ing and aah-ing over choice of mats and frame. I'd forgotten how tricky it can be to find just the right ones, complicated in this case by finding something that will look good with four separate prints in one frame.

As for the Challenge itself, I have a number of posts drafted now, which takes some of the stress off. I don't normally post all that frequently, so one a day is a lot to ask. I'm also relieved to find that the posts I've done so far have been fairly easy to write.

I'm planning to write about topics related to the world of Ghosts of Innocence, so this is all subject matter I should already know inside out. But I'm finding that my world still manages to surprise me at times.

It's not that it's hard to find something to write about, but that it's hard to match it up with a letter of the alphabet. I am doing a theme this year..food...try that with the alphabet.
Lovin' the artwork.

Hi Ian .. I've found a way to comment - I reloaded Chrome, and added the IE plug in - and by using that I can comment .. thankfully.

I know 2 weeks today .. not long to go - glad you're primed and ready to go as such .. see you there if not before .. Cheers for now .. Hilary

Those are lovely prints!

I've been working on my blog posts, but I keep changing my mind on the topics so it doesn't actually feel like I'm getting much done.: /

I need to get on top of it because April is sneaking up fast!

Third year doing the Challenge and second as a co-host - I'm ready!

Delores, I actually had fun with the alphabet bit, and coming up with ideas for posts wasn't too strenuous. It's simply the time needed to sit down and write posts along with all the other things clamouring for attention.

Hilary, glad to see you back in action. Odd, I've never had the commenting problems some people have reported. There, I've probably jinxed myself now :)

Kimberlee, I think having an overall theme has helped me keep on track. Yes, April is only two weeks away...yikes!

Alex, you're an old hand at this then, and notoriously efficient with your blogging at all times, so I'm not at all surprised to hear you're ready :D

Very cool prints! I've considred doing the A to Z thing but I don't think I'll have the time. I look forward to enjoying your posts!

What a great post!
I'm so glad you and Ali are loving the prints and that you are having them framed.
I am just having a set framed as well, also all on one matt within the same frame, for my esthetic studio - I think the four trees really speak to the need to accept the aging process gracefully.

Again...congratulations, it was great having you play TAG and be the winner as well.

Enjoy!

I keep changing my mind about a theme. Knowing me I'll end up going without one :-)

That artwork is fantastic.

I am a huge fan of digital art and yours looks amazing and I also like your choice of framing. Good luck with the Challenge. I'll be watching closely ..:) and cheering you. Kisses lovely gentleman.

Congrats on winning the artwork. It's gorgeous. I'm almost ready for the A-Z. Only have four more posts to write for it, and now that I'm almost done, I've thought of two other themes I could've used that would have been a lot simpler. Oh well. If I decide to do it again next year, I'll be prepared.

Jean, with everything else you've got on the go, I'm not surprised :)

Jenny, thank you for organising the tag, and for the lovely prints.

Sarah, you don't need a theme for the Challenge. How about picking the best ideas from all the themes you've thought of so far?

Thank you unikorna. Are you planning on taking part yourself?

Susan, that is advanced planning above & beyond the call of duty! April will be a breeze for you.

Hey Botanist, I'm glad you're getting organised. I thought my theme would be quick and easy but it's proving anything but! Looking forward to it though.

In? Yes. Ready? Not even close. I have three whole posts prepared. April should be an interesting month.

I think I should get at least one free day though, since my birthday is in April. That makes perfect sense, right?

J, it would be really convenient if your birthday happened to fall on something like "B for Birthday" or "H for Happy birthday" or something similar, then you've got a ready-made post for that day.

Hiya mood! I'm aiming to have more than half written, a little way to go yet...

Cathy, hello, that was blindingly quick off the mark! I only left a comment on Katie's blog a little while ago! Glad to see another Canadian blogger.
