This is why I like this time of year...
A sunny day, a long weekend, and my first hike of the season in Dean Park, which is just up the road from where we live. The beautiful wooded hill is criss-crossed by a network of trails offering short walks or opportunities to add more distance as the mood takes.
Gypsy seems to enjoy it too.

It looks lovely. Not quite like that here yet but...it's coming.
Hi Ian .. lovely - beautiful countryside - enjoy the Easter weekend .. Canada is a blessed country .. cheers Hilary
Delores, I hope things warm up soon where you are.
Hilary, I couldn't agree more!
Hi human, Ian,
Oh how my human misses wandering through the Provincial parks. You live in a splendid part of the world, my good human friend.
Wishing you and your loved ones a most peaceful Easter.
Pawsitive wishes,
Penny, the friendly host of the Alphabark Challenge! :)
Hi Penny, the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar, I'm sure you would love the Provincial parks, too. They are full of like-minded humans and their doggy owners :)
Take care of your human, Gary, and I hope you both have a peaceful and positive Easter.
Everything is already getting so green and beautiful where you are! Trees are only *just* starting to bud here in the New York area, but everything still looks pretty bleak. Spring is sure taking its sweet time to arrive. Enjoy it, my friend! I assume bike riding is going to be a lot more pleasant these days now. :)
David, we're lucky that out here on the west coast we missed the harsh winter. It was already good cycling weather back in March!
What a beautiful path! And so close to home. It's nice to see someone has some lush greenery to enjoy. We're all barely greening grass and bare branches around here yet.
It looks like you live in a beautiful part of the world, Ian. :-) Springtime is a great season, especially after such a long winter. Your photo would make a good writing prompt. :-)
